noticed just lately that theres quite a bit of condensation forming in the cold end of bumblebees rub. im worried he might get an r.i. so i keep wiping it all out. does anyone else have this problem? the temps are as normal, and iv got the water bowl in the cool end but that hasnt stopped it happening. what do you guys think i should do?

cheers karl, banged some more vent holes in and seems to have done the trick. have been monitoring the temps more closely aswell and have managed to get it to stabalise. no more condensation!

can be a few things causing this.

First off condensation is caused when there is insufficient ventilation. Another reason could be if your house is too cold and the rub is hot.

One of the sure fire ways to stop RI's in my opinion is to switch to air heaters rather than heat mats. Heat mats only heat the area they are in contact with, ceramics/bulbs heat the air too, which is where the main cause of RIs come from (too cool air)

Check your ventilation is ok and check your air temps in the rub :)
