Do not want to sound tight here but what would you say was the cheapest way to heat a viv out of a ceramic bulb with pulse or a microclimate 250w ahs heater,as im using the bulb at the moment and my friend has a ahs which i can have for £30,but some one told me the ceramic bulb was a lot cheaper to run and that the ahs eat electric, would just to like to know peoples opinions on it before i buy something that costs a lot more to run.

thanks

never used a ash but i have heard that when the element goes it has to be sent off to the manufacture to be replaced, this may not be the case
