Hi guys,
Should my hot side temp be taken from directly under the IR bulb or as an ambient hot side temp?where should I put my thermostat probe and hot end thermometer probe?

just put the probe next to the hide. i have hides under or near the bulb with the probes near them, the snakes tend to move the hides an probes about. as long as its near the heat source is will be fine

I have my hide directly under the lamp, there's no room to put probes on the floor directly under the lamp
