Posted - 29/12/2011 : 21:51:42 Sorry to keep banging on about the same thing but I offered a rat to Oscar this evening (day 14) and he's taken it like a champ. So I'm now thinking that maybe I was over feeding him by offering every 7 days. My question is, should I cut it down to 14 days or continue to try once a week. As I said in my last thread at last weighing he was 1315g. So confused!! What does everyone think?

Posted - 29/12/2011 : 21:58:00 Blackecho's feeding guide recommends feeding snakes over 1200g every 14 days.
However at this time of year they may not feed because of the mating season - the Big Fast.
I reckon you're doing the right thing.
The evil little git will fast for a few weeks ...and then surprise you by taking.
