Posted - 05/01/2012 : 18:08:10 Hi guys, I can't maintain my humidity levels in my 4ft viv, without help it drops to about 35% , the only way I've tried to raise is with a damp cloth on top of the hide which is under the IR lamp. This raises it to about 50-55% which I think is about right but obviously when the cloth dries out the humidity drops again, I'm concerned these fluctuations could cause problems but want to keep humidity at a constant%. Does anyone have any ideas?Cheers. |

Posted - 05/01/2012 : 18:12:43 i don't check humidity in mine. i keep the water bowls roughly in the middle of the vivs and when the snakes in blue i put a wet flannel on top of the hides under the ceramic bulb. never have any issues shedding doing this |
