Posted - 08/01/2012 : 22:13:42 nearly all four of my royals seem to aim for the end of the tongs when they strike, resulting sometimes in the need for a second strike.
I normally use the tongs to hold onto the knee area of the rats rear legs.
Anyone else have this? |

Posted - 09/01/2012 : 12:19:00 I've known Shahi and Shiva do this. I use very long tongs but I've sometimes wondered if they still sense the heat of my hand, even though I've heated the rat's nose up so well that I'm afraid it'll burn their mouths ...

I have had a feeding response bite from the big girl before, theres no way I am holding her dinner with my hand unless I have chainmail on lol |
