When fasting do royals lose weight?

Kane's not eaten for a few weeks now and im gonna weigh him tomorrow, should his weight be about the same or will there be some difference??

All depends on the snake, you may find a small drop (say if the snake has defacated since starting to fast, and after you last weighed him) but shouldn't loose significant weight.

For reference my oldest male will typically loose less than 100g (measured when empty after last feed) in the 4-5 months of his fasting. Once he lost 220g, but even that wasn't an issue as his fasts go like clockwork each year, and he was right at the end of fast at that point.

he shouod be the same, mormally takes a good while before any weight loss becomes noticeable
