Hey guys ive had myself another blonde moment lol i ordered myself some of that exo terra moss yesterday was absolutely stunned when it arrived this morning and shadows not shed yet so i can make my moss hide afterall problem being ive never used this stuff before and tore a chunk off the block and now ive got nigh on a bucketfull of moss can i store it for future use at all or can it be dried out and used as substrate ?

Hi paulie,

You can put pieces of it into individual freezer bags
say a couple of handfuls, then freeze ready for the next shed.
To thaw out place under hot tap then just squeeze excess water
out then it's ready to use.

You could let the rest dry out and store it out of the way of dust - and then just damp it for a moist hide when you need it in future. I think some people freeze it too.
