I decided to try Betsy on rat weaners a few weeks ago and to delight she took it no problem.
But I've offerd her them since and she won't go near them.
I left one in her rub overnight and in the morning it was still there.
I wanted her to eat so I offer her a jumbo mouse and she took that straight away.
I'm not sure what to do.
Should I leave her a bit longer before feeding her and wait till she's a bit more hungry and then give her the weaner or if she refuses it should I not them give her a mouse and wait a few days and offer her another weaner?
Advice please
Scott

Royals can imprint on a prey item. They can be picky...I have one boy who will not take a rat, frozen, live, doesn't matter. So mice it will be.

Well I would advise to stay on mice for now, as she isn't very old, but that is my opinion and I am almost certain that others will disagree :)

Not sure
I've had her since the middle of December 2011.
She weighed 150grams when I got her and ages up to 350 now.
