Posted - 23/04/2012 : 16:31:26 Hello all, Been a long time since i last posted. I'm in the process of redecorating my viv, after my snake managed to pull out one of the vents which I tide a plastic plant to and escaped for a few hours. I’m looking at getting some LED lighting just for viewing purposes. Do you think this would be suitable?

Posted - 08/06/2012 : 12:31:03 Its funny because I worked those branches myself and in a few places there are strange red stains, each one a reminder of just how sharp the blade of a plain is, I have those reminders of the work that went into it that and the scars on my hands, lol. |

Posted - 07/06/2012 : 19:08:33 They are totally complete, plug, transformer, cables, remote thing and 4 strips that can be connected together to make them bigger.
My logs used to be a sycamore tree in the back garden, it was in need to topping so I ended up with a house full of huge branches that a few days of stripping and weeks of drying I ended up with what you see. The top viv is 6 foot, that size branch from a shop would have been really expensive. |

Posted - 07/06/2012 : 13:44:08 I want to get some lighting for mine and the Ikea lights look pretty good. Can anyone confirm that they are complete and that you don't need to buy a transformer or anything. Also Lotabob I love the branches in your set up; are they shop bought or self collected? |

Posted - 23/04/2012 : 20:00:30 i've got strip LEDs that i got from Reptiles-Ink on the dark side (RFUK) for around £20 with postage for a 75cm strip (ideal for 3ft long viv) " comes with a remote which can change the colours etc etc... even a "disco mode.. which is no doubt wasted on a snake haha |
