Can live moss just be stored in a cupboard or does it need freezing? When i brought Frankie i also brought a starter kit for the extra accessories and it came with some moss that i just put in the box where i keep all my snake stuff (Gloves,Tongs,Hides,ETC) and forgot about it.

Well Frankie has gone blue and i wanna put a moss box in her faun but i dunno if the moss will still be ok, what'd ya reckon?

Mine is separated into individual "portions", put in freezer bags, squashed down, and frozen - simply to stop bacteria growing in it, as bacteria loves nothing more than moist warm environments. I just defrost a bag every time I want to add some.

Just gotta let her know who's boss lol. Yea that's usually the case. Nothing wrong with a bit of feistiness :)

This is her first shed with me and she can be a stroppy cow on a normal day so i dread to think how she'll be during shed :/ lol

Yea that should be fine mate. Especially as its still sealed. No worries :)

Its still sealed in the bag it came in so it should be fine? Thanks

Hi, I've had a bag of moss in my drawer for a couple of months now that I dip into whenever my royals are set to shed. I I just fold the bag and put it in a carrier bag so no air can get to it. I've never had any issues.
