Hey, I've Been feeding my royal both mice and rats, to give it some variety, just wondering which one in general is better for him or does it not really matter? He's a little underweight so trying to figure which will benefit him most :)

Rats grow much larger and when the royal's adult, it's more convenient to feed one rat instead of several mice, so I keep mine on rats.

Hi . Mine are on mice at the min but will be going on to rats very soon. Rats have a higher fat content than mice so if you want him to put weight on I'd advise sticking to rats.
