It depends on the snake, mine eats just before, after and even during a shed.. |

Mine went blue 3 days ago, and hasn't shed yet, today is feeding day and he's just took a rat without any hesitation, mind you he has only missed 1 meal in the year I've had him. |

He shed last night so will try him tomorrow night, gonna get my gopro camera set up to catch him in action lol |

some of my snakes will eat the same day but might be worth waiting a day or 2 so you dont waste a rat if she/he doesnt take it |
