That exactly. The blue will fade, I'd just make sure its all rinsed off and the snake isn't sticky as that will be a breeding ground for bacteria.

While they aren't feeding the best thing you can do is keep them somewhere quiet, dark and just leave them alone, check them over once a week and change their water every day to 2 days.

well i tried this at the begining of the week and all it done was turned my beutiful albino a shade of blue on parts, not overly impressed and still not eating, i think i should start to follow my own advive and stop worrying about it tioll his weights start to drop,

now to find a way to get his colour to normal, im hoping a bath may do the trick but i may have to wait for him to shed as i didnt realise to last nisht that it had happened

Cool it was just something I heard and wondered if its true especially as one of mine has not eaten in a while, altho i weighed him last night and i think he has put weight on, unfotunatly my records are nowhere to be seen so im just remembering the best I can, I won't start to worry till he begins to lose weight

And the colour thing was for a brb I need to start to use the preview option before I submit my posts

I keep this in my snake medicine chest -

as first aid in case of dehydration/severe non-feeding/debility etc - and hope never to have to use it. Imo it's better than Powerade - although if you've got an exhausted/dehydrated snake, powerade's better than nothing as an emergency measure.

I've never heard of it enhancing their colours though.

Some people rave about it
I'm Still not convinced
I've only used reptiboost

A few time and didn't think it helped either

I may try poweraide If I need to next time
