I already have loads of this stuff, is it ok to use as a substrate? If not I can buy some aspen. Just thought I'd use it as I have it to hand. |

I actually think beech chips are better, I've found it less liable to be swallowed with food and as above it is much easier to spot clean. |

Ive been using beach chippings and its agreat substrate ive reasonly turned to aspen tho to give him a change. |
