My 15month old Pastel has a real attitude on her!
She never relaxes and is always trying to strike at me.

Anyone else have this or do i just have a moody cow lol

I guess some of them must be just angry/shy lol
I managed to have hold of my pastel for about 3 minutes yesterday without her striking at me, mind you, she didn't move she just stayed in the same position - rigid

I like picking up a hatchling witha bit of an attitude
As long as when they strike they get hold of the rat ;)

My pastel female is the same, she's november hatch. She's only fed twice with me so i'm gonna try handling her after her next feed. But when i get her out to spot clean or change water etc she often strikes at me

You might have one of those "grumpy ass" animals, you do get them from time to time. Granted, it's unusual with royals but not ever one is gonna be a puppy

Try the sock trick and persevere I guess

Good luck

No i havnt tried that but i try to handle her every 2days if i can but not over the top to annoy her.

My other 2 royals are fine its just her

have you tried putting a sock in your pocket for a few hours then putting it in her viv/faun? helps them get used to your scent

BTW she eats fine lol
