Yeah, they have a lot of character when they are younger. its funny when they are in a "bitey" mood. I would just make sure it grows out of it before it gets big and nasty. The tags just feel like a little nettle sting or something. More of a shock from the speed than anything, but its all very exciting.

The shop I go to had a jungle carpet few years ago and it was amazing. Cost him ablout two grand it looked like it had been photoshoped or something he was jet black and the yellow looked like it was glowing like a highlighter pen lol definately one of my favourite snakes

You'll enjoy having him. Ours was a bit bitey when a first got him, but he soon calmed down. Lovely soft snakes to the feel and a very good temperament. Ours will take his mouse very gently and will happily eat whilst still in your hands, as long a you don't mind a mouse getting dragged over your fingers.

congrats price wise im not too sure what they go for but id happily pay £70 for a jungle carpet.

they can be very feisty/bitey when young but they tend to grow out of it once they get bigger.

im also getting a carpet python soon once 2 of the younger boas have gone to new homes
