had to give byron a bath today as woke up to a huge crap an he had smeared it all round the viv.
think he enjoyed the bath as it's the longest he has stayed still while out the viv so got some nice pic's and a little video of him

i also built him something to climb on as he spend's most evening's glass surfing an crashing about so this should keep him amused for a while

a friend has an evil chilean rose it's a right narky thing whereas mine is extremly placid.
yea there's a few with a bad reputation they don't live up to apart from the odd few bull snake's an blood python's are 2 that i can think of although my female bull will tag me if i lift her hide with my hand.
yep worth the risk of a tag as they are very enjoyable snake's to work with as you really need to gauge what mood they are in before going in but the tap training work's well with him.
strangly i kind of want him to tag me so i know what to expect but on the other hand i don't as it's probably going to hurt a lot |

Yeah I've had a few 'just leave it there' strikes while I'm cleaning up poo. I don't think any animal is as bad as reputation dictates, I have a tame OBT and an evil Chilean so I take each animal as they come. The Afrock is a seriously beautiful snake, worth the odd bite or two. |

thank's, from talking to other people on an afrock group they are not as bad as people make out although there are some proper mental one's out there.
byron is still being really good but he does have his off day's, he did go for me last week but hit the glass instead of my arm that's the thank's i get for cleaning up his mess |

What a beautiful looking snake, the markings are incredible and what a sturdy looking thing too, I can see their appeal but I'm still inclined to think you're Afrocking nutter  |

thank's the average for a male is around 12ft but they can get up to 15ft but not very common |
