Posted - 16/03/2013 : 20:38:41 I popped down to my local reptile shop today.
They were cleaning the dwarf boa's viv.
I hadn't held a big snake before, I've only handled my two young royals.
I held it, only for 5 minutes tops.
Now I've got a problem...
I WANT ONE!
Can someone help me stop thinking about snakes??? |

Posted - 18/03/2013 : 08:12:44 In these situations my little devil on one shoulder is saying *go on get it, do it do it do it do it do it, buy the snake, you know you want to, do it do it do it".
Then I listen to the sensible little angel on my other shoulder who says " go on get it, do it do it do it do it do it, buy the snake, you know you want to, do it do it do it".
So I do. Its always good to get a balanced opinion before buying more snakes. |

Posted - 17/03/2013 : 00:16:18 That's very true. That said, the moment I held a royal I got one and loved it...
I get the same feeling! |

Posted - 16/03/2013 : 23:15:13 Why not look into more,Might just be cool and different as you held it etc.Might become less iwantaboaitis after some research. |

A red tail boa would be lovely. But I have to... I must be... Sensible! I hate that word!
So strong and majestic too!

Posted - 16/03/2013 : 21:31:43 I had this. When I got mine. A friend was selling a red tailed boa. 6 foot when I got him. Grown half a foot in 3 months. But so worth it. |
