After having my arm twisted by carlb1981 I made space for a bredls

She's a little late cb12 from L'n'D exotics. Quite reduced pattern, bordering on striped

Sorry for the cr@p pic, she's a bit lively

Rep shop near me has an etb its stunning would love to get one or a gtp but don't have anyone that could come do the daily misting if i went on hols as I've heard you have to get it right, could just experiment with a fogger and timer though but heard stories of them breaking down

Good luck with the ETB quest, that's one species that's worth doing the hard yards to track down a good one

I'm not sure how they compare to other carpets as I don't have any. Yet . The only other morelia I have is the gtp and they're both very similarly tempered. Tbh the bredli is the less predictable, purely down to the speed. If she decides she's heading in a direction, it happens very quickly. Apart from that they're both very placid

The gtp moves in a much more considered manor, the bredli just goes for it. Gonna be interesting when she's up around the 8ft mark

I don't blame you! Really nice snakes. What's the temperament like? Similar to carpets?
Fezza Posted - 29/05/2013 : 20:30:18
Like I said, it's all Carl's fault ;)
jonnyc1988 Posted - 29/05/2013 : 20:21:09
Okay, so maybe not loads, but they are becoming more popular!!
jonnyc1988 Posted - 29/05/2013 : 20:15:34
Looking good! I love the way no one had these a few months ago and now loads of people do. Same happened with retics! I might buy a saw scaled viper, see if it catches on lol.

I've been going out of my mind trying to get my bredli to sit still long enough to get a reasonable picture.

They're no royal thats for sure! she moves and strikes faster than anything I've seen

Anyway here she is post shed, still a little out of focus and over exposed. I'll keep trying

Good addition. Lovely looking fella.

Just from handling her once we got her home (a 90miles/2 hour drive btw) she was still as calm and docile as any royal but, she has that slender, arboreal/semi arboreal feel like a gtp.

Best of both worlds
