Not really DIY as it was built for me but I don't know where else to put it.

It's a 2ft cube from nonstop reptiles

I'll post some more pics once its full kitted out and te occupant is in but I'm pretty pleased with it

Yup, it's the habistat radiator. I'm not a massive fan of habistats stuff generally but, it was the only one I could find. Works ok so far

Other counties seem to stock tons of makes etc,Uk seems to be behind the times again hehe.Same as rainfall systems,Mainly the overpriced exo terra one,and the lucky rep one. :P
Or unbranded parts, that work out super expensive for the whole kit.

Anyway,Looking good :) would look even more awesome with some natural sticks going across/around

Nicely done. Impressive little greeny too, looks so tiny in there.

50% all day long

I think it helps that the rad is as far away from the substrate as possible

How's the aquarium gravel doing? Keeping humidity ok?
Fezza Posted - 29/06/2013 : 20:09:04
Lights have just gone off and he's on the prowl already he'll move to another branch, coil up and then hang his head straight down waiting for dinner to walk underneath. Then repeat every 40mins-1hr

That's the only way I can tell if he's in shed. If he stays still and isn't looking for food then he's probably going to shed

very nice setup, i like the reptile rad's they look good an work well unfotunatly the one i had the wire's split on the back.

does Meissa actually move about much in the evening's?
Fezza Posted - 29/06/2013 : 19:05:46
I'm quite liking the rad tbh, they're really low wattage compared to a bulb (only 75w) but are quite large, area wise so it heats the viv just nicely
Foremand Posted - 29/06/2013 : 17:45:07
Looks great. Best thing I like is its different to most people's vivs.

And if the habitat radiator works then it's a good investment. As looks neater than a bulb and out the way.

I'll add some artificial plants and I've got a new water bowl coming. Should look good once it's done

The heat panel is fantastic. Really easy to fit and holds temps steady as a rock running through a lucky reptile thermo control 2.

looks really good

Drank far too much relentless today so I've put together the bamboo frame too.

The temps are now holding solid as well so once I've got some lights the little man can move in
Fezza Posted - 21/06/2013 : 11:33:30
Decided on an unusual choice of substrate, aqurium style pea gravel. I was going to do a black and green combo but then I saw this natural stone version and thought I'd look cool with the new bamboo frame I going to make up (some thought and design required with that yet) and the green foliage. The led lights are ordered and on route too so it shouldn't be long until the little fella can move into his new home

I'm considering a background as well, maybe something like a stone effect??
