Posted - 08/12/2009 : 21:08:28 yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUM LOVE!!!
i'm the person to speak to about Dums £100 is a very good price BUT LEGALLY it MUST have a CITES A10 certificate to prove it's captive bred and be microchipped (or have an accompanying m/chip).
they're a medium-sized boa (6-8 feet average) but they're slow growers with great temperaments (and they're absolutely gorgeous ) care is similar to common boas (BCIs) requiring a hot end of around 30-32*C but a cool end only a few degrees lower at 27-29*C and normal room humidity as the Dums come from an arrid, dry part of the island rather than the rainforests of Madagascar. feeding can be a problem with youngsters but if this one's got to 5ft it must be doing ok lol please feel free to email me with any questions, Dumerils are my thing and i currently have 3 of them and i'm looking to breed them next year |

Posted - 08/12/2009 : 18:49:04 If you really like it, go for it! Don't know much about them, but £100 sounds pretty good for any 5ft snake to be honest (unless we're talking about corns lol). |
