I wasn't really getting my hopes up about the first feed, but it went very well as you can see...

He made me jump he striked so fast!

Quick question though, he's on rat fluffs atm they got delivered today, and some of them are smaller than expected, I'm assuming it would be ok to give him 2 of the smaller ones as long as the weight adds up to be 10% ish of his body weight?

I'm unsure, because the store i got him from said he was about a year, i'm no expert or anything but he seems quite small for a yearling, but they had another one which was from the same clutch and he was bigger. So maybe he's just small for his age =]

Cool ill do that when i need to then, theres only a couple that are quite small the rest are fine, I got quite a varety of sizes in 1 pack for some reason. Will probs just order the next size up next time anyway, by that time he will hopefully be ready for them anyway.

My boy sometimes eats two rats when the others refuse, I wouldnt worry about having to give 2 rats, as long as he eats them then happy days! :)

I havent had a hatchling yet, got dudes fully grown so might be best to wait for some more advice just incase Im wrong....

What name have ye given the little fella?
