Samll rat weaner sounds small for a 900g royal, I feed my 500g royals those- but that being said every shop has different sized weaners so my weaners might be smaller than yours. Best bet is to go by the old rule of 15% bodyweight for a feed item :)

Thanks Kelfezond, His previous owner rescued him and a female at the same time, they were both really skinny and covered in mites,i'm not sure how long he had them but he got them healthy and eating. He took them both into my local pet/rep shop last saturday as he was moving. I saw him on monday brought him home on thursday the pet shop feed him a small rat weaner on tuesday which he took,i will be feeding him again on tuesday but am wondering if to give him the next size up or not?
