When I got up this morning Titan was hunting around his rub again and I thought he could be looking for food. The shop I got him from wasn't very convincing when I asked them how long ago he's eaten, but he's only been home a few days and wanted to make sure he'd settled in.
So ...... I decided to try tonight haha and he was obviously hungry. As soon as I showed him the mouse on the tongs he was interested. He struck once but missed then struck again and constricted. My Milk snake strikes for her food but doesn't constrict. So this was the first time I've seen it in person ..... Very cool lol
Yum yum yum
He's fast asleep in his warm hide now.

Yay! It's always wonderful to see them eating. Definitely a sign that they're comfortable and happy. Great job with Titan! He sure is a cutie. :) |

It was like a feeding frenzy sat night.
Titan had his first meal with us and my Milk Snake had her first hopper after a few weeks on two fuzzys. She must be used to getting two mice as she wanted another hopper straight away ..... When she's a bit bigger lol |

We've been very lucky. I got my Milk Snake at Christmas and she fed straight away and hasn't missed yet .... Touch Wood |

It's great to watch them strike and constrict! When Cuthbert first did it it made me jump! lol, actually it still does now sometimes
