We just had a few days down south, so had to stop in at the pet outlet in Newcastle, the reptile room in Blackpool and finally Prehistoric pets in Spalding. We had to keep the do not disturb sign on the hotel door to keep the cleaners out, don't know what would have happened if they came in to see a row of snakes on the table.

First up is ????? Our yet to be named Clown male.

Next is Bubbles our Champagne female

Then it's ?????? Our Mojave female

Next we have Spook a Phantom male

Then there is Flame our Fire female

And finally for the Royals it's ????? Our Yellow Belly female

We also ended up getting some Boas a well.

This is Clyde a male BCC Red tail

This is Bear a BCL Long tail

This is Bonnie our BCC Red tail female.

Better not forget Tommy a Leopard Tortoise

Didn't get these on our trp but they were waiting for me when I got home this trip.
Moggy male Soulsucker

And Tinny or Silver our female Pewter

All in all a good but tiring trip. Some were intended buys and some were getting carried away buys and some were coerced and downright sneaky.

They are all so beautiful but I gotta say that champagne really caught my eye! Just stunning!

Sorry jonnyc lol. It was JanieW fault
I hadn't intended driving all the way down to Spalding. If id known I was going that far I would have left earlier and gone to the Essex reptile show. Although if a had gone to that I might have needed a van to get home.

So you've effectively travelled to everyones local pet store and bought all the pretty snakes so theres nothing left for us to go drool at... Thanks alot!!!
But seriously..... JEALOUS!!!

Thanks Anatess I can see the YB flames now.
The Phantom does have a burnt orange tinge around his aliens and his belly. So that's good to know it's a trait of theirs.
We are hoping the odds gods smile on us and give us a purple passion from the phantom to Mojave.
Bubbles will hopefully take a shine to our calico in the future.

Oooh! Lovely Champagne! Bubbles is the perfect name for it too!

I'm familiar with YB since I have one. You can see the "flames" coming up from the belly to the sides in the middle of the black splotches. Like flames in the fireplace. It's very obvious in that 3rd picture running down the neck.

I've seen Phantoms on shows but I still can't quite see the markers except for the clear white belly which is similar to Mojaves and YBs. It's supposed to have this burnt orange color but I see lots of normals and even Mojaves with burnt orange as well.

Is your Phantom and Mojave opposite sex? Excited to see what offspring you get there!

Just had to repost all of the photos as I had spare moment so thought id put all my snake photos into individual files for each snake. Only after this did I think id better check my posted pics were still being accessed. Oh dear.
Lesson learned the hard way. Leave old pictures where they are, or it mucks up your posts.

Cheers JandA, we're very pleased with them. Although we are in the middle of treating the rest for mites and I see some of these new guys came with the little blighters, so out with the callingtons again and try not to reintroduce them to our other guys and girls.

Baobab Posted - 27/10/2013 : 20:08:27
Yeah Carl. We went to the pet outlet to get the YB and came away with three Boas as well ,oops . I'm taking the blame for one of them, the rest was you know who.

Im very jealous lol a lovely bunch of reptiles you got there wish i could take trips like that lol

are the boas from the pet outlet?
Baobab Posted - 27/10/2013 : 19:15:17
The photos just don't do the Pewter justice. Nice job Del.
The clown was my fault, love their patterns and the gold fllecking on the soul is amazing. I'm struggling to see much difference in the YB and the Phantom from a normal but looking forward to seeing what they can produce. Love the fires little flame on his head and the butter scotch colouring on the Mojave. And finally the bubbles running down the champagnes back tickle me.
