I've taken the plunge & gone & got myself a new camera. So here a few pics of some of my lot. Still learning how the thing works so not all the pics are perfect but I'm still getting used to all the different settings & only ever had a basic camera before. Be sure I'm going to bore you all silly with lots of pics from now on..

Love the carpet and tic pictures. Going to "bore us silly" with lots of photos. I don't think so, give it your best try.

No worries, glad I could help. Post them in the other reptile section. I'd love to see them.

I've been playing around with the aperture size like you said Alves, makes a great difference & some great shots. All of my Boa & Tic so I won't post them here but thanks again for the advice.

Thought it was a dslr. Big thing you'll notice is the shallow depth of field you get compared to basic cameras, hence some photos where the background is way out of focus. Makes for some good photos tho. I agree with kelfezond here, the last couple are brilliant. The colours have come out great. For the others a small decrease in aperture size (increase in the f number) would make a big difference.

Great photos tho. What counts more than that is the subject placement and you've framed those shots really well.
