Hey folks, shes settling in nicely. Shes such a sweet wee girl! Thought of the name Sal (short for Salmissra) but not sure if itll stick, though Ive another 25 years or so to decide hehe this is the first Ive handled her since I got her so only had her out for 2mins and she didnt want to go back in again!!!

Shes on rat pups just now though shes quite girthy so was wondering if I should maybe see if she would take two at her next feed? Or should I keep her on one every 5-10 days?

cheers

I upped my 09 royal onto two rat pups or 1 mouse at a time when he was 100g. As BE said, be better to get her onto rat fluffs though. I couldn't get any, hence the two pups and mice but eventually got him some last week and they are perfect. Good size, and a smell he can't resist.

Good Luck with beard!

Gave her a weigh today, shes in at just under 100g. Only have analogue kitchen scales so might not be 100% accurate but close enough. Is she a healthy weight?

Not sure on the weight, Ill give her a weigh on the kitchen scales next time Ive got her out and the missus aint in, shes quite a tubby wee thing (the snake mind..). yeah Id rather increase prey size too, Id imagine shes less likely to want to strike twice in a short period of time... Should have a weight for her by monday

cheers
