You could try a damp bit of cooton wool to moisten it then let him sliter through a damp towel.

at 3 months he would of shed,could you get a decent close up of it

I dont know. I have been wonering about that as well but he has not shed with me yet. He is only three months old so dont know if he will have shed at all. What do you think?
