I think my big male royal got fed up with his rat weaner lol i put him on the sofa (which iv done before and he has never minded) i gave him his rat and he made me jump he struck at it that fast, i then went about doing my stuff in the kitchen while keeping a eye on him just to make sure he was safe (which he was) i then had to take these pics
i think he got bored with it, he did eat it after 45mins like that lol, anyone elses royals got this bored?? |

My royal tends to coil and hold for about a minute before eating and never longer than that but she is fairly consistent in her timing - lol |

hi, no i dont live feed they all feed on d/f rats, he likes his wet, i think its jst the way the rat died with its mouth open
I did tug on the rat and all he did was coil more around ratty to the point i couldnt get to the rat to tug on it again lmao |

I tend to find a little tug on the rats tail makes them start eating it soonish |
