Thanks for the advice, my local pet shop will treat her properly for £5 I think that's quite reasonable, just got to disinfect her tank.

rub olive oil onto her skin it helps in getting rid of mites because they live under the scales and if you grease her up then the mites cant get under her scales and will die in literaly hours. but dont do it more than once and use very little oil as this can make her skin wrinkle really bad and could crack

She's gorgeous. I had trouble naming my new snake - she's my first too. We've now called her Vicodin. Mainly because when I see her she makes me all warm and happy inside... and a little buzzed. lol. ;p
