Well we have had Beau, about 5 weeks now, was getting a bit worried as for the first 3 weeks he wouldn't feed, but with help advice and reassurance from you guys on here, he finally ate 6 days ago, today i fed him again, blimey he gave me a fright when he struck, i knew he was going to do it but it still took me by surprise! (Last week i had to leave the mouse in the viv)But today bang he took it first strike.
So pleased he has started eating now, one more feed to go then i will start to handle him. i have just left him to settle, just changing water etc. Any how starting to waffle now, have added some pic's as i am just so chuffed.

I believe so hyper,(is a Royal Python a normal python?) i haven't handled him yet so only taken shots of him in the viv, as i say he didn't feed for 3 weeks, so i followed the 1 week rule, and because he still hadn't feed for 3 weeks i was advised to leave him be etc, so one more feed and i reckon i will get him out i will then be able to weigh and measure him to make sure he is size and weight for his age.
