Posted - 08/02/2010 : 15:20:53 Got home from uni today to find a very unhappy Diego, having shed everything but the top part of his head, which had peeled back over his eyes so he couldn't see and was obviously causing him some discomfort.
He went straight for a soak in his special bath tub for 10 mins, and I was then able to peel it off very gently, including both eyecaps.
Before the bath-
And after the bath, you can clearly see the head piece-
This was despite having a water bowl in the warm end,a moist hide and gentle misting. I blame the mite problem he had a little while ago, bloomin things!! |

Princess is similar, she usually manages to shed completely but it's always in bits. She just seems to lie in her cave and wait for the skin to flake off. |
