Hey again everyone, it's been a while! Meet my new baby, Odin.

I've had him for about a week now, I'm trying to feed him but true to most Python's he's just using the Rat pup as an obstacle lol. I tried him on a large fuzzie when I fed my corn last sunday, and he struck at it but made no move to latch on. I figured that must be a good sign, at least he's interested in it enough to try to kill it? lol. Anyway! Hope you all like the photo's =]

Hope he settles in and yes you are right we get stressed when they don't feed but they aren't :) so long as they are well and not losing too much weight they are fine and will eat as soon as they are hungry and comfortable :)

Thanks everyone, I've had him for about 3 weeks now and have tried to feed him once more. Again, no luck. I'm keeping handling down to a minimum but past that I'm not entirely sure what to do if he won't feed. I'm not worried TOO much as I know how they can be, but I'd like to have myself prepared for what may happen in the next month or so =] He's passing previous meals now which is a good sign I suppose?

yeah definetly best to let them settle for as long as possible when you first get a new arrival :)

You say you've had him a week and have been trying to feed him. Personally I wouldn't handle or try to feed for at least a week if not two to allow them to settle in, only going into the viv/tub to change water. Don't offer more often than every 5-7 days or you will stress them out and I wouldn't handle until they've taken a couple of feeds and settled in completely. Good luck.
