Posted - 12/03/2010 : 08:48:56 This is charlie had him 3wks now he shed his skin couple of days ago,tried him on 2 jumbo mice but he didnt want them i left them over night still didnt want them,i shall try again later,is it ok to handle him now i have had him 3wks?

Posted - 12/03/2010 : 17:28:16 I wouldn't handle until you have a feeding routine in place. Royals don't tolerate handling as well as other snakes and if he's not settled in yet you may just undo the hard work so far. |

Posted - 12/03/2010 : 17:17:25 I only handled him last night to put him in his feed tub as you can see,but he didnt eat.I be glad when he does eat then it will put my mind at rest.I now know he sheds well,just the eating part now. |

Posted - 12/03/2010 : 16:18:30 Good looking Royal, I think you have been very restrained in not handling for 3 weeks ! I think a short spell of handling would be perfectly in order, just keep the first time short and gradually lengthen over time to build trust. |
