Hi guys, finally my 1 week hands off period is over and fed my python today (now another 48 hours hands off time :(
Its not been sexed yet, the Vet that specialise in reptiles will only be back from holiday the 20th. So if its a female I'm gona call her Abesiss and if its male Dimitri.

He took a rat pup today, no problem (Phew!!)
Do I also feed him weekly?

Here are some pics, will post more after the 48h.

your welcome! i found it really useful, sheba wont feed every 5 days and she is about 357g maybe a bit more now, so feed her every 6 and she is quite happy with that!

Thank you very much Lettsy.

Hi CoN,Gorgeous colouring!!! This is what i try to follow for feeding BE put it up on a thread

0-400g feed ~ every 5 days
400-800g feed ~ every 7 days
800-1200g feed ~ every 10 days
1200g+ feed ~ every 14 days

These are just a rough guide.

Sorry cant advise on hatchling weights as sheba was about 8/9mth old when i got her. Im sure someone with more experiance will be able to answer that one tho!

Can someone please tell me what the weight should be for a month and half old Ball?
He/she is 54g.

Well he or she certainly looks like they're enjoying their rat pup! Fab names too by the way.

I believe my Bruce (who incidentally isn't sexed, I just figured it would be funny to have a girl called Bruce if my male assumption was wrong, haha!) is an 09 also and am feeding every week unless in shed - in which case I just skip it completely for that week . I'm sure somebody with more experience will confirm this as being correct or not.
