these are still very bare after the episode with mites, am slowly adding things back in

Suggest you don't put the larger viv at the bottom, this is an error made a lot, have the larger viv on the top. If you have the larger one on the bottom the weight of the smaller one on top will cause a bit of bowing to the bottom one and will jam the doors eventually.



i thought of that, thats why i got a spare piece of the wood so that i have 2 pieces of wood on top of the 4ft so its double the thickness, so will be able to take more weight

i have already got a het pied male and a het pied female, will prob breed them in 2013 if the weights are good

i the wood i bought from surrey pet supplies, its the exo terra forest branch
and the ivy is the stuff from dunelm mill, much cheaper than the reptile stuff u buy at reptile shops, i think its only 3.49

lol thanks, still trying to improve on the viv without making it to cluttered lol
i ahve a vine and a piece of of the ivy left so may try and out that it, with the ivy wraped round the vine
