We live in Cornwall.

I was the same with snakes when I first heard about my OH having one, but I've got used to Margwar now.

Gorgeous pics - where do you live, you lucky devil??

I'm no good at photos but I do tend to find that some people panic at a photo of a snake, or even the idea of a snake, seeing them all as potentially murderous creatures and as vast as a giant anaconda.

When I got my first snakes, my ex said, in all seriousness, that one day he expected to call at my house, get no response to his knock and peer through the letterbox to see a gorged snake lying on the floor, and no Lil, nevermore ...

(He is a highly intelligent guy, BA hons, no less.)

My first snakes were corn hatchlings. I used to coax them out of their flowerpot hides into the palm of my hand...

Mind you, the penny's dropped now. After witnessing the activities of corn snakes, he's no longer scared of being eaten, but he's very scared they'll take a dump on him lol.

lol it's sunny today, we're going to take the bike to get Margwar a small rat as a bit of a treat. Once the sun has heated up the backgarden a bit we'll take him out again.

On another note, do Royal owners find that when you show non-snake owners photos of your own royals that they're automatically thinking "That snake's massive"? A couple of people I've shown the pictures to have instantly said "He looks huge" or "He's never 4 and half foot".

It was nice and sunny so I took the chance whilst I had it!
As for the staff, she's 14 months old, total nutcase too, with no sense of delicacy.
