Lol, I know I am not looking forward to him fasting either, I think thats part of the reason I am happy to give him the biggerst prey item he can safely eat and get his body weight up so any weight loss will not be of any concern. I'm happy that the amount I am feeding Duke is safe and is not making him fat, he is still a solid little fella.

Arhhh I see I've still got my pastel on 7 days at the moment

Good luck on finding the small dogs ' I mean rats lol ;)

I'm dreading the winter when they say no I'm not eating this month
Oh and by the way I might decide that the following month I'm still not eating lol
Lotabob Posted - 12/07/2011 : 21:45:45
He is 897 Grams his growth has slowed as I've moved him to every 10 day feeding now and he is using up a smaller sized rat too, the ones he'll be moving to are small dogs I think, lol.

I thought that about Shahi when I weighed him with one meal in him - a couple of weeks later he produced a humdinger - and when I weighed him he was still the same weight, not lost a gram.

Duke really is a big beautiful boy.

He really has come out of his shell. He is still quite quiet in his viv but he does pop out for drinks and if the lights and TV are off he does on occasion go for a wander. When he is out he is brilliant, he's more curious than scared these days. I put him on the ground and he climbs up me, its really funny and oh boy is he strong. I weighed him yesterday and he was 897 grams, he has a meal in him though so will have to wait for a true weight.

He really looks like he's starting to come out of his shell these days.

Oh wow, what's his secret?

Last time I saw him he was passed out in his hide surrounded by cobra beer empties and snakey mags!

These young things, got hollow legs eh?

Brilliant pics - many happy returns, Duke!
