I retrieved Duke's skin out of his hide with a bit of hissing thrown in for good measure, I think Duke's photoshoot will have to wait until tomorrow now. Anyway after unrolling Dukes skin and checking it for the important bits (all present and correct) I decided to compare Duke's size to my little dog.

A big ol' boy. I hope I get sheds like that. Your poor dog looks scared to death, lol.

Its true Alfie is actually a bit scared of Duke, the others he is fine with but he gives Duke a bit of distance. He did look a bit nervous when I called him over but he soon realised the snake wasn't there.

Anyway Duke was feeling a bit more social today and didn't hiss so I got him out for a weigh in and phot shoot.

Oh and he did't poop yet but he weighed in at 1.086 KILOGRAMS!!!!!

Oh and I measured him at 47 inches too. Allow an inch or two either way for squirming though.

LOL - I just looked at those pics again before I read this, and what came to my mind was that Alfie does look a bit apprehensive, only more in the way of - 'It wasn't me did that, Dad, honest Dad!'

Wow, another huge boy. I best not show Tig though, he might feel a bit upset!

Your little furry friend there looks a bit nervous! X )
