Just had a thought, it could be useful for people to post some details on the setup in the pics. Size of the viv, heating details, decoration, that sort of thing.

chrisc Posted - 04/01/2012 : 20:11:34

Good work! They look really good like that! Did you use large "coach" type bolts for this?
ajokocha Posted - 04/01/2012 : 18:53:23
Looks good. And sturdy lol

chrisc Posted - 04/01/2012 : 18:09:04
on the left/end i just drilled through the end wall and into the branch and on the back did the same but made the hole a bit bigger so that the screw head was inside the wood an away from the snake
Vinny Posted - 04/01/2012 : 17:44:37
I would also be interested to that aswell lol
ajokocha Posted - 04/01/2012 : 17:40:21
On the very first pic, how is that branch attached to the side of the viv?
Tawfik47 Posted - 02/01/2012 : 20:55:45

Well here is our setup for the royal and corn. Both young so started them off in fauns, though the royal is going to be rehomed into a 2 foot viv shortly. Both on 7w heat mats and HabiStat mat stats.

Charlie the royal on the left, Lola the corn on the right.

Lola's faun.

....Which I just did. I realise they haven't got plantpots ...so ...will make varnished salt dough holders for them and glue the buggers in with aquarium sealant. Job done!

Ah yes, but I wouldn't be buying only one ...6 with p&p costs about £22
