Finally got a pic of our new Albino 'Alice'. Been letting her settle in and trying not to disturb her too much but took this one quickly yesterday!

Here she is, She's quite pale but I think she's lovely! :)

Thank everyone! Just a quick update, she took her first feed with us last night! Couldn't get the right size Rat so gave her a medium mouse. Took a bit of work (ie:Heating the mouse up & jiggling it about for 10-15mins) but we got there in the end. Feel relieved the first is out of the way!!

@Scottydog Good luck with the saving! Hope you get yours soon!

@Burnedatthestake Thanks for the advice!

@jBarlow91 Thanks for pointing that out!

@Falice Great Name!!!

@Stenic Congrats on your collection for Monday!

@Everyone Thanks for all the lovely comments and advice! :)

Thanks everyone! I love her to bits! Can't wait to able to handle her properly once she's settled in. I have had to briefly a couple of times to clean her out and she is so chilled and hasn't been hiding much, been out exploring her Rub too! Hopefully she'll be just as friendly as my normal, Hector.
He's my baby, I walk around the house/watch telly with him a lot lol!

I'll keep feeding her the small weaners then, good to know, thanks! :)

A holiday?????

Who wants airport delays and murky swimming pools and hotel food when you can have a snake instead!!!!!

You definitely made the right choice imo LOL!

Well, I like to see them chunky. Royals are a chunky snake after all. Sounds good to me - seen a few pics of overbred or poorly reared reluctant little feeders who may not make old bones. I wouldn't overfeed a snake (that's disastrous) but I reckon chunky for royals is good.

I feed according to Blackecho's guide of 10/15% of the royal's bodyweight. Royal weighing 0-400g feed every 5 days, royal weighing 400 - 800g every 7 days, but if in doubt I do feed rather less than rather more ie if you have a 10% of snakeweight rodent, imo that's better than say a 16% of snakeweight rodent. (Hope this makes sense.)

She's a little beauty!

I was lucky that Hubby has been working overtime, so we had a bit of spare cash, which we were going to book a short holiday with, but then we saw this gorgeous girl (and a female Bumblebee who we are due to collect soon)! lol

Just one thing I'd like to ask, she's a bit on the chunky side, haven't weighed her yet of course but the breeder had her on Rat weaners, anybody have any advice on whether I should stick with that or move her down for a bit? I don't have a hatch date but I'd guess she's around the 6 month mark.
