Posted - 13/03/2012 : 23:35:49 Hi all just thort I would introduce our new royal sisco
He's a underweight late 2010 male and I got him for £20.00 from preloved. So far he's been checked over by a good freind mark from reptile shack Dundee and apart from being under weight the only thing that concerns me is how pink his underbelly is. He weighs 495g at the moment but I will soon change that. Lol
He's in s rub at the mo with x heat mat connected to my dimming stat as that's all I had available just now.
Not sure how long I will keep him just now as I realy want a female so I cud oneday mate my poss het pied (drogo)
Cherrs for reading
John
P.s will get better pics once he's settled in |

Posted - 13/03/2012 : 23:52:37 I'm woried about the belly as the guy had it way to hot in the rub to the point there was condensation in the hide on the celing and floor Whitchurch drenched the paper towel so I think he's been lying in damp conditions for a good while. Thort it could be the start of scale rot.
He's staying in the rub for the time being so no heat bulb just yet . I have drogo in a 2ft viv just now and a spare 3ft upstairs ready to go for a big female when one comes up

But the guarded heat bulb, as I'm sure you know, is better for the older royal. But realise you just had to use what was available.
Congrats on getting him, even if you have to rehome him eventually. |
