I find that Slinky actively seeks this treatment so just had to share with you all.

When Duke grips my arm I know about it, though I think they'd be too fat to get a hold of hair strands. They'll just grab your head instead lol.

aww Rob..but, but its fun breaking myths

Oww through my hair..hmm Fea has done that once and it hurt like hell..little sod wrapped himself around individual hairs.

Can't say I fancy that from a full grown puppy dog Royal lol

See videos where people get bitten is what you need to be capturing not these videos breaking the myth about Royals. Duke is a shy Royal but he is happy to be handled now and although he isn't fond of his head been touched I can do it now if I'm careful, he also eats, very rare other than the 4 month fast for him to miss a meal (as you can tell by his size).

Slinky is a lovely little snake, it will be funny when he is fully grown and nearly 2kg when he climbs into hair you'll know about it.

lol Rob

He is the reason why I can never offer advice on Royal behaviour, cos he never acts like a "typical" Royal. He eats and is quite happy being handled while in shed, and if I don't stroke his head he buries it into my palm or pushes through fingers. I think he doubled back into my hand when I had stopped stroking his head in that vid :)

He is a big softie, lol cept at feeding last week when he nipped Steve for not putting him in his feed tub fast enough..and that was funny:)
