Posted - 08/08/2012 : 21:27:14 I've had Ripley a month and he's fed, shed, bitten me, and this evening took a huge pee on me (and a bit on the sofa & carpet. ) Luckily he waited until he was back n his viv for the follow-up (or follow-through.)
My wife thought it was hilarious, but I don't know how I'd have cleaned up without her.
Feels like that's most of the milestones out of the way now. |

Posted - 08/08/2012 : 22:23:26 I have yet to be tagged or poo'ed on. My corns only get handled 3 days after feed, so that they have already done their business.
I have been struck around 50-60 times I would guess. My spider royal struck at me atleast 15 times just last night, but none have tagged me. Pretty sure he will be the one that eventually gets me though. I have pretty quick reactions from my ice hockey days which help. |

Posted - 08/08/2012 : 22:05:51 I think you've ticked most of the boxes now
I'm either very lucky, or very careful but I've only been tagged once in 15 years of keeping reptiles |

Posted - 08/08/2012 : 21:41:58 The bite was my fault. Reached in to retrieve a dropped rat. I should've just left him to it. |
