Well i have now been the owner of a baby royal python for just over 4 months,
she is now about 6 months old and seems to have settled in with us really well,
She is eating weiner rats on a regular basis now (every 5 or so days) and her growth is steady too,
she now measures at just under 3 feet and weighs in at what i hope is a healthy 472g.
She has become a very much loved member of our family and we really couldnt imagine life without her.
it hard to believe that a few months ago when she was a tiny 71g i was actually afraid of her!! now she hangs out in bed with us or in hubbys pockets lol, she has certainly changed my views on snakes from being scarey agressive creatures to what i now now as a very placid and friendly family member,
i can honestly say that she is the best purchase ever made and i would sugest royal pythons as a fantastic family pet for anyone to have,
In fact she isnt our family pet, she is a member of our family who is very much loved, shes my baby lol.
