Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could ask your opinion on the temps that I'm getting in the viv. I think they're about ok but would value your input!

I'm getting 31.1 at the hot end, 30.1 in the middle and 25.6 at the cooler end. Noodle has spent the last couple of nights firmly in the middle of the viv but this morning has taken up residence in the hot end hide. He's just coming out of blue so should be shedding any time now.

I have to say I'm adjusting the day and night time temps by hand at the moment but may invest in a timer (I've got a pulse habistat) with a 150w ceramic.

Thanks!

Yeah they look fine like I mentioned yesterday don't need to worry about night time drop if your snake gets cold it will go to its warm side :)

as said the cool end temp will drop during the night anyway so no need to adjust anything

Only time people lower temps is if you are planning on breeding lol otherwise there is no need and you don't have to lower the temps to breed

That's interesting! So you wouldn't turn the temp down at night then?

Yeah the temps sound perfect if your using the pulse stat that should maintain the temps during the night, would not worry much about cool end temps at night as they would expect a slight drop in temp anyway, as long as the hot end stays the same you will be fine.
