Woo hoo! Noodle has just shed! I had a quick peek in his hide (
He seems to be favouring the hot end hide at the moment) and you can see large bits of shed skin in there and if I didn't know better I'd say he looks quite pleased with himself.

So, from what I understand, you should leave him 24 hours before feeding, is that right? Given that he shed last night would a feed tonight be ok?

Excellent! That did the job! I got him into a little bath of warm water which he was not too keen on it has to be said and then ran him through a damp flannel a couple of times and the last bit of shed came off nicely. Thanks for all the advice!!

I'm going to feed him tomorrow as he's had a bit of a stressful evening...

its pretty important that you get this piece of shed of the tip of the tail could cause a few minor issues if left on, like what has been said use a damp warmish flannel run your snake through it apply a tiny bit of pressure when you get to the tail should find it will all come off, if you get stuck on unsure just let us know.

I'd get a warm damp flannel and let him slither through it should do the trick

As said if the skin didn't come off in one piece I'd check to see it has all come off then feed him tonight should be nice and hungry

Congratulations on the shed, I always handle mine the day they shed just to make sure all the shed is off, as far as feeding goes I generally feed the same day of shed if they are hungry they will take it, but if you want to leave it a day it won't do any harm.
