Dont worry, its a happy ending, I have him back.

I opened Hal's rub to feed him, he came over sniffed at the mouse then quicker than I've ever seen him move (and I've seen him move fast) he bolted, straight as an arrow straight out of the back of the RUB, flew up into the air and quicker than I could catch hold of him fell down behind the vivariums his rub is on. I couldn't move the vivariums because I couldn't see him and its spaghetti junction with all the wires back there, far too risky at that stage to move anything. I had to stick my hand in behind and see what I could find, while keeping an eye on the ways out, I felt a tiny movement and grabbed at it, it wiggled and thrashed but I wasn't letting go and dragged the poor bugger out by his head. Checked him over and he is fine, and now actually having his dinner.

Lesson learn't and thankfully I got him back within a minute.

I've moved Hal into his vivarium now, he has outgrown his RUB and its about time the empty vivarium got its occupant. Just a little scared he will find an escape route as he is still pretty skinny.

Had myself a little Chinese twin spot rattie as a Crimbo present. Boy! You should see that little blighter move (and rattle his tail at the same time!!!) Shoots around his Rub at a rate and would certainly make a speedy exit if I didnt watch him!.....anyone know where I can get a nice pastel Royal at a good price????????

Whoa, got yourself a flying Royal! :D So glad to hear he is fine and back with you. It is always scary when they do stuff like that and try to disappear on us!
