I don't have asthma, but I do have a breathing problem that can be triggered by dust (among other things). So I get what your saying there, I have to be carful in the same way.

I used orchid bark from day one 'cause it seemed to have a few good points about it, but one is that it's virtually dust free, probably 'cause it's kept damp and is usually damp as you buy it. So dust can't fly around. You do get brown stuff on your hands when handling it, but it just rinses off and it's never given me any problems.

It looks good and smells really nice too : )

I use Megazorb from these guys, delivered to your door, cheap, and just the best stuff I've tried.

I can't remember off the top of my head but half a bag fills by 6X2 and 3, 3X2 vivariums, about 2-3 inches thick.

I like the look of the bark in vivs. Do u have to let it dry out before using it for royals or is it ok as it is

Not used orchid bark for the royals but, I do use it for the rainbow boa. 70kg for £20 odd quid sounds about right. It should last you a long time
